Conner never had a mean word for anyone He loved life ♥️

Hometown: Toledo, Ohio
Birthplace: Toledo, Ohio

Conner James Carnes was born on April 2, 1999, in Toledo, Ohio, to his parents, Keith and Rebecca. He grew up surrounded by the love of his sister, Jaime, and his two brothers, Christopher and Jacob, sharing a childhood filled with laughter and the kind of unbreakable bonds only siblings understand. From an early age, Conner had a gift for joy. He was known for his loud singing, ridiculous dancing, and perfectly timed jokes—anything that could make the people around him laugh. Making others happy mattered deeply to him, and his presence brought light into every room he entered.

Conner had a playful, childlike spirit that never faded. He loved gaming, spending time with his cat Buddy, and proudly riding his Heely tennis shoes, often trying to teach others his skills whether they asked or not. He approached life with enthusiasm and humor, embracing fun in its simplest forms.

He graduated with his high school diploma from Central Nine Career Center in 2019 and worked hard in the years that followed. Conner was employed as a canvasser with White Oak Construction and also worked as a server at Brozinni’s Pizzeria. His family was immensely proud of every milestone and accomplishment he achieved.

Known for his hearty appetite, Conner loved food of all kinds, especially meals cooked by his sister Jaime, along with Mexican and Asian cuisine. Food, like laughter, was something he enjoyed sharing with others.

Conner died unexpectedly on June 29, 2022, in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 23, from fentanyl. His death left unanswered questions and an immeasurable ache for those who loved him. To his mother, he was not only her son, but her friend and her angel.

Though his life was far too short, Conner’s impact was profound. His kindness, humor, and genuine care for others live on through his family and friends, and especially through his beloved niece, Milena, who adored her Uncle Conner.
