Marie “Binky” Swier Anderson was born on December 19, 1994, and left this world far too soon on April 11, 2025.

From the moment she could walk, Binky chose to run. She was full of energy, life, laughter, and just enough chaos to keep things interesting. She had no fear and no off-switch, and those who knew her wouldn’t have wanted her any other way. Binky lived life out loud, and she made sure everyone around her felt the warmth of her spirit.

Binky was a free spirit in every sense. She held countless jobs and brought her bold energy to each one, always making friends wherever she went. But Binky wasn’t meant to be tied down—she needed motion, excitement, and adventure. One of her proudest and most humorous accomplishments was becoming forklift certified. She wore it like a badge of honor, bragging with a smirk and a laugh, because that was so perfectly her: unconventional, unexpected, unforgettable.

Her love ran deep. She shared an unbreakable bond with her dad, her rock, her constant, her safe place. Their connection was sacred and rare. She also adored her grandma, who recently passed, and those who loved her take comfort in knowing the two are side by side again, laughing together.

As a big sister, Binky was loving and protective of her younger brother, Jakob. Their bond was built on mischief, laughter, and unforgettable adventures. Together with their dad and mom, they created a Fourth of July tradition Binky cherished—lighting fireworks from a rickety old bridge. It was sketchy, a little wild, and entirely Binky.

She also held her cousins close to her heart, treasuring sleepovers, late-night laughs, and countless shared adventures. She had a quiet way of living out forgiveness and love, simply showing up and reminding those she cared about that they mattered.

Music was Binky’s therapy, her escape, and her joy. Her favorite thing to do was fill the gas tank, roll the windows down, and drive with the music blaring. She loved scary movies (the cheesier the better), nail polish in every shade imaginable, cats, journaling, giving thoughtful gifts, and making people laugh. To know her was to love her, and the world was brighter with her in it.

Binky faced unimaginable heartbreak when her first son, Layne, passed away. That grief changed her forever, but even in the depths of her pain, she kept going. She poured her love into her son James, her light, her world, her everything. To see James was to see Binky as a toddler—full of energy, spirit, and love.

She also found deep love and partnership with her husband, Adam Anderson. Their connection was instant and undeniable. Through joy and struggle, laughter and heartbreak, they held on tightly to each other with fierce loyalty and love.

Though her time here was far too short, Binky will never truly leave those who loved her. She will be felt in every song played too loud, every winding road taken with the windows down, and every silly moment shared with her son.

Binky was not perfect—but she was real. She was strong and vulnerable, messy and beautiful, wild and free. And above all, she was deeply loved.

We will remember her not for how she left us, but for how she lived: loud, fast, funny, brave, and full of love. Just like she always was.
