Kristopher William Frank

-years-old

My son had a beautiful soul, he was empathic and loved family and friends. He would dance with the oldest woman in a room, he serenaded my mother-in-law when she was in hospice and made her smile. He was the glue to our family and would hold big parties at his house. He loved to…

Kristopher was a man of resilience, strength, and profound love for those around him. Born into a family that instilled in him a strong work ethic, he started his working life at a young age. This commitment to responsibility carried through into his adult years, where he worked diligently as a warehouse supervisor, often holding down as many as three jobs at a time. But Kris was not just a hard worker; he was a man who enriched every space he entered, whether it was a professional setting or a gathering of loved ones.

Beyond the workday, Kris was passionate about sports and deeply competitive, a spirit evident in every trivia game he played or sports event he watched. His charisma was infectious, making him the life of the party at trivia nights, karaoke sessions, and family celebrations. He had the unique ability to make anyone feel like family, creating connections that were both genuine and enduring.

Kris was also a man of deep thoughts and reflections. Conversations with him could easily venture into philosophical terrains, as he pondered theories of how things work and what makes the universe tick. His openness to the world around him made him both a great teacher and an eternal learner, adding a layer of wisdom to his already engaging personality.

As a father to his young daughter, Teagan Marie, Kris embodied love and devotion. His ability to make anyone he met feel like they belonged was not just a social skill; it was a reflection of how deeply he cared for those around him. His great sense of humor and warm charisma were often the glue that held social settings together, and he served as a pillar of strength within his family.

However, the year 2019 marked a series of tumultuous events for Kris. A breakup, a DUI, and a severe back injury led him down a complex path of pain management. Despite having a parent who was a substance abuse counselor and who advised caution, Kris found himself searching for alternative means of relief. Tragically, this search ended in an encounter with fentanyl, which took his life all too soon.

On that devastating morning, a man who had been a beacon of strength and love for so many was found to have lost his own battle with pain and addiction. It was a heartbreaking moment, leaving a void in the community and in the lives of all who knew him.

Yet, despite the tragedy, Kristopher’s spirit lives on in the hearts and minds of everyone he touched. His young daughter Teagan, who turned two just after his death, will grow up hearing stories of her father’s resilience, passion, and unwavering love for those around him.
